Booking In & Terms

All vehicles booked in must be left with us, we will not carry out any ‘while you wait’ work at all.

Car drop off and collections

Once your booking is arranged, we would like you to adhere to the following,

Please Remove all items from the boot & glovebox, door pockets, centre console areas and any rubbish from the car, bulky items and child seats,

Workshop Deposits

A NON Refundable deposit is required on all items left for repair, (this deposit will be deducted from the final invoice price) and a charge for removal and refitting of the item will also be charged. This may vary with different vehicles. If the item does not complete the repair process, the deposit will be used to cover some of the engineers time and any parts used in diagnosing the fault, and possible disposal costs.

Terms

All Sales and repairs must be paid for in full on collection/installation. Completed repairs not collected within 3 months of completion will be sold. MAS Audio does not take responsibility for items or vehicles left for repair or awaiting installation/collection. Please consult your car insurance. Any items that are unrepairable, or left in our workshop for longer than 6 months will be disposed of.

Repairs come with a 3 month return to base warranty, this covers work carried out, not any new unrelated faults that may occur, unless stated otherwise.

All new products sold come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty, unless stated otherwise. It is the customers responsibility to cover any return postage for warranty repairs if required. We do not provide a money back guarantee for unwanted or damaged items.

Items not purchased from MAS Audio

Limitation of warranty and liability for customer-supplied products

No warranty on customer supplied items!

MAS Audio does not provide any warranty, express or implied, regarding the quality, suitability, performance, or durability of any product, part, or material supplied by the customer for installation or integration with products or services sold by us.

Exclusion of liability for customer-supplied items

The customer acknowledges and agrees that MAS Audio shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or malfunction arising directly or indirectly from the use, installation, or failure of customer-supplied products. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Any defects in the customer-supplied product itself.
  • Any damage to our products, other parts of your property, or third-party property caused by the failure or malfunction of the customer-supplied product.
  • Any incompatibility issues, performance problems, or technical faults that result from integrating a customer-supplied product with our parts, or your vehicle.
  • Any costs associated with the inspection, removal, or re-installation of a customer-supplied part.

Installation risk

The customer accepts all risk and responsibility for supplying third-party parts. MAS Audio will install such items using reasonable care and skill, but cannot and does not guarantee the outcome or performance. Any failure of the system or damage that occurs is at the customer’s own risk. If a fault arises, it will be the customer’s responsibility to prove that it resulted from our installation process rather than a defective part.

Notification of risk

By providing a product for installation, the customer confirms they have been clearly informed and understand that it will not be covered by our warranty and that we will not be held liable for any damages that may result from its use. This disclaimer will also be noted on any relevant invoices.

Vehicles left with us

While we take every precaution, vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s risk for circumstances outside of our control.
We accept no liability for loss or damage resulting from fire, theft, or any other cause unless proven to be caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care.

Security of valuables and vehicle

We are not responsible for the loss of or damage to any valuables or personal belongings left inside the vehicle. We strongly recommend that all such items are removed before you leave the vehicle with us.
If you leave the keys with us, you confirm that you have securely locked the vehicle and windows to the best of your ability.
